“Who Wrote the Book of Ezekiel? Examining the Evidence”
Abstract
As biblical scholars continue to debate the authorship of the book of Ezekiel, this article offers a different perspective on the discussion. It explores how the historical background, when juxtaposed with similar biblical literature from the same period, contributes to the discussion of the authorship of the Book of Ezekiel. The study argues that, based on an analysis of words and phrases occurring in the biblical books of the exilic period, there is stronger evidence that Ezekiel authored the Book of Ezekiel.
